Lineside telephone box type: EK TOUS-O, EK TOIS-O, EK TOPS-O, EK TOKO-O with built-in optical phone, type: EK OT-1 is designed for simultaneous speech and call signal transfer between two system users at maximum 8 channels.

Serves to accommodate and protect the optical phone from disasters and unauthorized use.

In the Lineside telephone box which is made of stainless steel chrome-nickel steel (INOX 304) of 2.5 mm thick is installed optical phone EK OT-1.

The color of the telephone box is orange RAL 2004. On the front and on both sides there is the letter T, black (RAL9001) and the relief is accentuated 3 mm outwards.

On the door of the Lineside telephone box is a lock, and the door closure is done in 3 points. On the case of the cabinet there is a switch triggered by opening the door and includes a LED lamp.

The protection level is IP 54. The inside of the cabinet is divided into the user part and the maintenance part.

Optical phone EK OT-1 is part of the EK DIC-2 system that serves as a substitute for kilometers long LB telephone line between the railway stations and the local LB telephone lines within the railway station.

Optical phone EK OT-1 completely replaces traditional inductor telephone providing better sound quality, greater range and a lot of new possibilities.

To each EK DIC-2 device can be connected up to 16 fiber optic phones EK OT-1.
