Wagon air conditioning system EK VKL 32/380 is intended to cool the passenger compartment inside the wagon. The function of wagon air conditioning that creates a comfortable temperature and humidity level inside the wagon during elevated external temperature.

Wagon air conditioning system consists of:

• Outside compressor unit
• Internal vaporizing unit
• Control cabinet

Outside compressor unit

Preparing for the refrigerant vapor. Mounted below the cars in a special crate next to the static converter. Power from the control cabinet. One outdoor compressor unit "drive" two for two vaporizing units.

Internal vaporizing unit

Used for injection and distribution of cold air into the passenger compartment, with fans and ventilation ducts. Mounted in the space between the existing ceiling panels and roof arch, near the partitions between the salon and predulaza. Power from the control cabinet.

Control cabinet

It is supplied from a static inverter (KONČAR manufacturer) that is under the wagon in a separate box. Menu temperatures and master module are in the control cabinet. Menu temperatures used to another system in a wagon, the heating system gave a reference temperature of heating.

Temperaturni senzori

A complete system of wagon air conditioning control module MASTER (microcontroller). Management software system was developed in Elektrokem.
