Electronic DC / AC converter EKDAS 72-4.0/3F powered by energy from the battery pack three phase air conditioning compressor and single-phase heater oil on the locomotive.

DC / AC converter at its output generates three-phase AC voltage (3x400V, 50 Hz), galvanically separated from the battery, the sine wave with a distortion factor of less than 2%.

Input voltage converter is a DC voltage of the battery pack, with the appropriate charger, rated voltage of 72V.
